#What Download is

Download is the basic feature that saves media found on the current tab as a file. It does not create a new site. It works from the page you are viewing.

The short overall flow is in How to use. This article covers the save process in more detail.

#Media detection

When you open a page, 321 Downloader checks for items you can save. This can take a short time depending on the page.

Some pages only show items after playback starts. Sites expose media in different ways.

#Save video

If playable video is present, you can save it as video. Choose a video result in the 321 panel, then start saving.

#Save audio

If the page has audio, you can save it as audio. It may appear with video or on its own. Output follows the media obtained from the page.

#When several results appear

If the same page has more than one media item, more than one result can appear. Pick only what you need. Not every file on the page is always listed.

#Save progress

After you start saving, you see in-progress, complete, or failed. If the browser blocks multiple files, progress can stop. If it fails, read the notice and try again on the same page.

#Finished files

Finished files appear in the browser download location. This article does not claim that 321 Downloader provides a separate library.

#If something goes wrong

Not every website or every video is guaranteed, and DRM is not bypassed. If nothing appears, start playback and check again.
